A look back, but also a look ahead…

2026 real estate market predictions 🏡🔮

My prediction for the year ahead: mortgage rates hang out in the low 6 percent range, home prices stay close to 2025 levels, and we finally see more homes come on the market. With that, I expect more transactions, not a frenzy, not a freeze, just steady movement.

Translation: a calmer, more balanced market where homes that are priced right sell and well-prepared buyers win. Not headline-grabbing, but solid. And honestly, those are often the smartest markets to buy or sell in.
