Alexis Gilliam, a senior from Grayson, Kentucky, worked at W. Jeffrey Scott Law, P.S.C., a Brandon Music Company in Grayson.

"I enjoyed going to court with the attorneys I work under. I also enjoyed being able to further develop my skills in legal research, and learning about how the law works," Alexis said.

"I learned how to file documents, study case files, do legal research, and how to be a professional in the legal field. I also got to attend court with the attorneys I worked under."

Please join us in welcoming Attorney Isaac Caines to our firm. Isaac is a graduate of NKU Chase College of Law and holds an undergraduate degree from Wabash College. Born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky, he has returned to the region to practice law close to home. Before joining the firm, Isaac built a well-rounded foundation in the law through hands on experience across multiple settings, including interning with a circuit judge in Northern Kentucky, working with a personal injury firm, and taking on prosecutorial work with the City of Cincinnati. That breadth of experience gives him a practical, versatile perspective to bring to every case.

The theme for Grayson Memory Days this year is “Growing Home”. To grow , you must start out with a firm, rock solid foundation. Bill Scott started his barber shop in Grayson, Kentucky in 1948. He instilled in his children, Jennifer and Jeffrey the value of hard work. From watching their father in that little barber shop, to Jeffrey opening his law firm here in Grayson, Jeffrey and Jennifer have enjoyed success in their hometown of Grayson based on the solid rock foundation laid by their father, Bill Scott and Bill’s Barber Shop that was in Grayson for 50 years.

We are pleased to welcome Alexis Gilliam to our firm. Alexis is an incoming senior at Morehead State University majoring in legal studies and criminal justice with a minor in social work. Alexis plans on attending law school in the fall of 2027. Alexis will be interning with us this summer. Please join with us in welcoming her!
