The building is 99 years old this year. It is exciting to see that this will bring housing units to Great Bend!

Today, we celebrate the people making history happen.
This Labor Day, we want to recognize the incredible crews who have poured their skill, craftsmanship, and countless hours into bringing the historic Zarah back to life.

Every wall framed. Every window installed. Every wire, pipe, cabinet, and coat of paint represents the hard work of men and women who take pride in what they do.

We're especially proud that so much of this project has been completed by local contractors and tradespeople. Their dedication isn't just restoring a building—it's helping preserve a piece of Great Bend's history for generations to come.

To everyone who has worked on the Lofts at Zarah, thank you. Your craftsmanship is creating more than apartments. You're creating homes, preserving history, and investing in the future of our downtown.

Happy Labor Day, and thank you to all who build, create, and serve our community every day. ❤️

From the windows of the Lofts, you'll be able to spot several of Great Bend's incredible downtown murals—each one adding a little more color, character, and creativity to everyday life.
