Most people don’t realize how much time they waste in their inbox. But when your email is categorized by urgency and importance, everything changes. 📧📬

Setting up your email with separate folders, like Primary, Transactions, Updates, and Promotions, can instantly help you sort what matters most. Your Primary folder should hold the messages you check daily. Transactions keep track of what you’re paying and getting paid. Updates are key notifications. And Promotions? Those usually need to be cleaned out or unsubscribed from.

The more intentional you are with your inbox, the less time you waste digging through clutter, and the more energy you can put into actual income-generating tasks. If you’re constantly digging through your inbox or missing important emails, this is your sign to build a better system that could completely shift how you work.

If your day starts with chaos and ends with unfinished tasks, it’s time to rethink your systems. 🗓️📝

One of the systems we use is a simple Beginning of Day and End of Day report. Each morning, we outline the key tasks, like updating our referral platforms, managing emails and calendars, prepping the newsletter, and checking in on CRM and social media tasks. At the end of the day, we review what was accomplished and what needs to be adjusted for tomorrow.

This system has helped us stay focused, keep clients informed, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. If you’re still trying to do everything off the top of your head, it’s time to build a structure that supports your growth.

Most people underestimate the amount of time they waste searching for files, templates, and documents. 🗂️💻

When I brought on an executive assistant, one of the first things we did was organize our entire Google Drive. Every client folder, every presentation, every buyer or seller form now has a home. We created dedicated folders for admin tools, team training, templates, vendor contacts, and even daily reports.

Now, when I need to onboard a buyer, share a listing packet, or send a thank-you email, it takes seconds. The systems we put in place allow me to work faster, close more deals, and free up my mental energy to focus on growth.

I’ve dealt with some complicated listings, but this one takes the cake. 🍰📍

My seller had a tenant on the first floor who wasn’t just refusing to leave. He got aggressive when we tried to change the common-area locks. Cops were called. Emotions ran high. But we followed the proper channels, secured the property, and now the eviction process is underway.

This is your reminder: don’t cut corners. When it comes to tenant-occupied sales, know your legal rights, work with experienced professionals, and don’t be afraid to get help.

Six months into real estate, I closed my first commercial new construction deal, and it all started with one simple question. 🏢🔐

A contractor came by my parents’ house, and I asked him, “Do you know anyone looking to buy or sell real estate?” He mentioned a building that had been listed for $3.5 million but failed to sell. When he pulled it off the market, he called me and asked me to take over.

I met with his three partners, provided them with a straightforward valuation of $2.5M, and we listed it at that price. Two weeks later, it was under contract.

That deal taught me that the biggest opportunities don’t always come from ads or fancy lead gen. They come from taking initiative, being honest, and having the confidence to speak up, even when you’re just starting out.

In my first six months as a new agent, I’d show up, pick up the phone… and fake calls. ☎️🫣

I was terrified to talk to leads. But once I pushed past that fear and actually made real calls, everything changed.

Instead of avoiding conversations, I turned calls into buyer consultations, which eventually led to signed clients. I became so confident that I started paying for Zillow leads and converted 90% of them.

The truth is, a lot of Realtors want to level up, but they’re afraid of the phone. I get it. I’ve been there. But if you want to get better, it starts with showing up and practicing.
