POV: You walk into a home… and realize you’re touring a piece of architectural history.

Today I had the opportunity to tour one of the most unique homes I’ve ever stepped inside.

📍2109 Morning Drive, Loveland, Colorado

Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous Jacobs II Solar-Hemicycle design and created by Taliesin Fellow David Eric Calvin, this isn’t just a home… it’s truly a work of art.

Built into the hillside for passive solar living, every detail was intentionally designed—from the dramatic walls of glass and soaring curved living spaces to the suspended fireplace, spiral staircase, original stonework, and incredible natural light.

The current owners spent six years restoring and modernizing this architectural masterpiece, including a stunning chef’s kitchen, redesigned primary suite, updated mechanical systems, and my favorite feature… an indoor hot tub conservatory beneath a glass ceiling. 🤯

Outside, you’ll find 1.45 acres complete with a koi pond, pergola, fire pit, incredible wildlife, and peaceful Colorado views.

Whether you’re an architecture enthusiast or simply love seeing extraordinary homes, this one is absolutely worth experiencing.

Listing courtesy of Jessica Marie Tate with milehimodern and Said Zokhrouf with NoCo Group Realty.

Would you live in a one-of-a-kind home like this, or do you prefer something more traditional? Let me know in the comments!
