I’ve always loved Dolly Parton’s attitude toward life. 🎵🇺🇸

Dream big, work hard, definitely don’t take yourself too seriously 💁🏼‍♀️ & for crying out loud, give yourself a chance.

While shooting with Michael McIntee Mila happened to be recording some BTS while I was messing up this line moreee than a handful of times. 😅

So when I finally got it right… they had a front row seat to my joy and excitement hahaha.

The funny thing is though, this really is how I’ve learned to approach real estate.

Yes, experience has made me more confident, BUT I think a lot of it has just been learning to walk into things believing I have a chance.

I don’t have to know exactly how it’s going to go. I might even mess it up or need another try. There’s also a good chance I’ll look a ridiculous in the process but I’m probably going to try anyway.

& I do love that my kids get to see that part. 🤍

You can’t win every time, but you sure as hell can’t win if you never put yourself in the game.

Watch as our beloved Sam from Near North Title absolutely roasts me… but definitely doesn’t judge me 🤣✨

If you’re in this industry, you KNOW that real estate gets messy. 🫣

Deals get weird, things come up and sometimes all you can do is laugh your way through it.

I’m pretty grateful I get to do that alongside some incredibly smart people who bring a whole lot of knowledge to the table & are always willing to trudge through the muddy waters with me.

We listen. We don’t judge… but apparently we keep receipts. 💀 This was way too fun to make with you Samantha Maxson 🤍

I met Ken and Annette almost 3 years ago when I had a listing down the road and was dropping off information around the neighborhood.

I saw him outside blowing leaves off his driveway & we ended up talking for a while. He shared that he and Annette knew retirement was on the horizon, that their kids were starting families, grandbabies were coming along, and they knew a move was probably in their future… just not yet.

Every now and then we’d text or catch up, but I honestly had no idea if I’d be the Realtor they called when the time finally came.

Fast forward almost three years, and we closed on the sale of their home they loved for over 30 years.

I remember sitting at their kitchen table during the process, and Ken looked at me and said, “You’re just so easy to talk to. You explain everything in a way that makes sense.”

I don’t know if he realized it, but that was one of the biggest compliments he could’ve given me.

I think a lot of people assume choosing a Realtor comes down to marketing, sales numbers, or who promises the highest price. Those things matter… but eventually you’re sitting across the kitchen table from someone, trusting them to guide you through one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make.

You deserve someone who makes you feel comfortable asking every question, explains the things you don’t know, and makes it obvious they’re in your corner.

Congratulations, Ken & Annette. 🤍 It was such an honor to be part of this chapter.
