✨ A bittersweet closing day! ✨
We officially sold the final home for two longtime friends and loyal clients who have trusted us with their real estate needs multiple times over the years. It marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as they set out to travel the country in their RV, embracing the adventure they’ve dreamed about for so long.
I remember our initial listing appointment at their home on April 29th. As we talked, they shared their plans to part with everything and hit the open road. Standing in their living room was a beautiful picture of a soaring eagle that immediately caught my eye. I jokingly said, “I’ll take that eagle picture!” Never imagining I’d see it again.
When we met for their pre-closing appointment, there it was. To my surprise and heartfelt gratitude, they gifted it to me.
Anyone who knows me knows how deeply meaningful eagles are to me. During my 15 years as a hospice nurse, I experienced moments that shaped many of my beliefs about the eagle as a symbol of strength, freedom, guidance, and spiritual connection. This gift means more than I can adequately express.
I will cherish this picture forever, just as we all cherish the friendship we’ve built over the years. It will serve as a reminder that real estate is about so much more than buying and selling homes- it’s about the relationships, trust, and memories created along the way.
