REPOST from : Many people assume the lake market slows down after Labor Day. In reality, that's often when some of the most serious buyers emerge.

The Green Lake market doesn't always follow the traditional real estate calendar.

Our busiest season typically doesn't begin until July. Many of my buyers are coming from the Chicago area, where school lets out later and early summer is often dedicated to graduations, weddings, and family commitments. By the time those events have passed, families finally have the opportunity to spend time at the lake and begin thinking about what owning a home here could look like.

That momentum doesn't disappear when summer ends.

In fact, autumn is often one of the strongest times of the year for our lake and luxury market. After spending weekends on the water, entertaining family, and experiencing everything Green Lake has to offer, many buyers decide they're ready to make it part of their lives for years to come.

Some of my largest sales each year happen well after Labor Day.

The calendar may say summer is over, but for the Green Lake market, the season is often just entering its next chapter.
