To all Woodbury Property Customers
Please Be Advised of the Impending Storm, Debby
Currently, this storm has been downgraded to a tropical storm but may intensify before hitting South Carolina. The greatest threat we all face is water. We are predicted to receive about 10 to 12 inches of rainfall. This will cause a great deal of flooding in the area. If an area flooded during Hurricane Matthew or Florence, that area is likely to flood again.
The storm should be in our area late tonight and tomorrow through Thursday. Four people have lost their lives in this storm, so please be careful.
Things to do
Use as little water as possible.
The amount of rain we are expecting will cause septic systems to overflow and back up. This means toilets will not work, and showers and sinks will not drain.
Secure any items outside
Place anything in your yard that can blow away inside. We expect 45 to 60 mph winds, and items will be gone.
Storm/Screen doors Closed
Make sure to fully close your screen or storm door during the storm. The wind can cause these doors to slam shut and break. We do not have any replacement storm or exterior doors.
Watch for leaks
If you see water coming into your home anywhere, call or contact us immediately.
