One thing I truly enjoy about living and working in Maryland is discovering places that help you slow down and enjoy life a little more.

This Memorial Day weekend, if you’re looking for a beautiful escape, I highly recommend visiting The Rum House in Annapolis.

I was invited there for afternoon tea by a wonderful group of ladies I’m connected with, and I honestly had no idea this hidden gem existed. From the moment we walked in, it felt peaceful, elegant, and welcoming.

The owners were incredibly kind and personally showed us around the space. The staff was warm, attentive, and made the experience feel so special. We enjoyed afternoon tea with a lovely assortment of savory bites and sweet treats, and champagne was also offered.

What I loved most was how the space encouraged everyone to slow down, relax, and truly connect. It would be perfect for tea with friends, birthdays, bridal showers, networking events, celebrations, or even a quiet afternoon to yourself.

As your Realtor, I love helping people not only find a home, but truly enjoy where they live. I’ll definitely be sharing more Maryland gems, local favorites, and experiences around the DMV.
