Cheers to 1 year (& a few days) to these special clients! 🎉 🏡

This transaction was a special one for me not only because I was representing my sister in law and brother in law but it also helped me grow so much as an agent.

Tiffany came to me in May with a goal to move before the school year started that fall. She had a goal of opening her own home daycare instead of returning to teaching. We were in a very competitive market in the area for their price point (oh and the house had to have very specific qualifications for home daycares in Calvert County).

We searched for a few weeks then we found THE ONE! We beat out multiple offers WITH a home sale contingency and weren’t even the highest offer. However, the offer was well written and had the best terms for both my clients and the seller.(and no we didn’t even waive inspections!) Communication was key here between the listing agent and myself to make sure this went as smoothly and efficiently as possible. She was fantastic to work with!

The kicker was, they still had a home to sell. This is where I really got to grow as an agent. Pricing and marketing had to be strategic and there was no room for error. Tiffany said to me “if this doesn’t work out I can just go back to teaching” Right then and there I knew failure was not an option as there were so many dreams on the line here.

We were off to a rocky start selling as the market was beginning to slow down but we were officially under contract on the 4th of July. Thanks to the amazing Kendall who I referred to the buyers on this side as well. Their lender was not able to return my calls for 3 days when he returned from vacation. But like I said we were on a time crunch and there was no room for errors!

In the end both transactions went smoothly because all agents and vendors involved communicated thoroughly and were dedicated to get the job done for their clients!
