The Corcoran Q1 Report for North Bay real estate numbers are in which shows that 347 homes sold in Marin in the first quarter. That is down 58% from the same period last year with a median sales price of $1.7MM (up 10% from 2021).

The report below breaks down the numbers for each town in the North Bay (covering Marin, Sonoma & Napa). One of the most shocking numbers to me is the statistic that in Corte Madera the average number of days a property was active for only 8 days! This implies that buyers are making offers with very short contingency periods (or waving inspections and appraisals completely!).

As with most statistics it can be confusing so if you have any questions, I am more than happy to provide additional insight.

So happy for Meredith, Zac and Timpa! I have been helping them search for over 3 years and finally found the perfect spot. We've looked at 23 disclosure packages for homes from Sausalito to San Anselmo, considered everything from duplexes to major fixers...and then found this beautiful, updated home in San Rafael.
