The City of Greensboro has launched a website dedicated to the new housing initiative, Road to 10,000. Visitors to the site will be able to access a dashboard, which provides real time data points, tracking the progress of housing units being added to the City’s inventory. The site will also serve as a resource for homebuyers, while creating one-stop access to the permitting process, development opportunities and overlay district maps just to name a few.

The ‘Get Involved’ link located on the left navigation menu, leads to the Community Meeting Format Survey. This allows the public to express what topics they want to learn about during the series of community meetings the City will host.

Additionally, the section called Join Us on the Road includes a form to share comments, ask questions and explain how the public wants to support this initiative.

Subscribe to the eNotify page to receive email updates for community meetings and news releases.

The Road to 10,000 is intended to increase housing capacity in Greensboro by supporting the development of 10,000 new housing units by 2030. This initiative will leverage a coordinated strategy to engage public and private stakeholders.
