Every year more than one billion pounds of pumpkins end up in a landfill. These landfilled pumpkins create greenhouse gasses, take up valuable landfill space, and their nutrients will never be returned to the soil. Help reduce pumpkin waste by dropping off your pumpkin to be upcycled into compost or used as food for farm animals at NC A&T State University Farm at one of the following events.

Stop by to drop off your pumpkins for composting or stay for a Composting 101 mini-session. Learn how rot is the new recycle! Mini-sessions will be held at 1:15 pm, 1:45 pm, 2:15 pm and 2:45 pm. Stay for a mini-session and be entered to win a free backyard composting bin.

👉Our Haunted Tails Silent Auction is LIVE!

Be the first to bid and score your holiday gifts early, or buy for yourself. You can feel fantastic about all your purchases because each sold item saves the lives of countless dogs and cats in our community. Yes, the community you call home. Wouldn't you love it if that place didn't include homeless, neglected, and abused animals?

Our Auction will end on Friday night, October 20th, at 10 pm when Haunted Tails concludes. We will have auction items for display at Haunted Tails; however, you don't have to be present to win.

Here are the answers to the questions we know you are asking:

👉All items will be available for pick-up at our facility starting October 21. If you ask nicely, we might deliver your winning item if you live locally.

👉We won't ship any items unless the winner pays for shipping. You will receive an email invoice if you are the winning bidder. You can pay by credit card, PayPal, or Venmo. If you want to send us a check, that is fine, too. At this time, we can add shipping charges if you are not local. We will charge you what it costs us to ship your item. That fee will depend on the weight of the item and your zip code.

👉You don't have to give your credit card information to participate in the auction.
👉You don't have to create an account to view the auction.
👉You must create an account to bid (no credit card information is needed).
🤩You will receive an email if you are the winning bidder with a link to pay your invoice
👉You will receive text notifications if you are outbid (if you provide your phone number)

We hope you will join us for our First Annual Haunted Tails party Friday night, October 20th, from 7-10 pm at Pig Pounder Brewery. You can come as yourself or dress in costume (yes, pajamas are an acceptable costume!)

CLOSING DAY!!🎉🍾🏡🔑Huge congratulations to my amazing buyers on purchasing their first home! We we're even able to negotiate a BRAND NEW HVAC unit when the current one started having issues after we were under contract! It was a pleasure working with Katie & Dylan and I wish them many years of happiness, health, peace, & prosperity in their new home!!💝
