A growing number of Americans are choosing to start their next chapter in North Carolina — and in 2025, our state ranked as the #1 destination for out-of-state movers.

This migration trend reflects what many of us already know: North Carolina offers an outstanding balance of affordability, economic opportunity, lifestyle, and community.

For the Triad region, this presents a tremendous opportunity. High Point, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and surrounding communities continue to attract buyers looking for more home, more value, and a convenient location with easy access to everything North Carolina has to offer.

Real estate trends tell a story about how people choose to live, work, and build their future. I’m proud to help individuals and families make their transition to the Triad and discover what makes this area such a special place to call home.

One of the most common questions I hear is, “How long does it take to buy a home?”

The answer is: it depends. Every buyer's journey is unique.

For many buyers, the home search takes anywhere from 30–60 days, depending on their goals, budget, and available inventory. Once a home is under contract, the timeline to closing can vary based on financing, inspections, and other details of the transaction.

While no two transactions are exactly alike, having a clear plan and experienced guidance can make the process much smoother from start to finish.

If you're considering a move this year and have questions about the market or the homebuying process, I'd be happy to help. Feel free to reach out anytime.

High Point homeowners: if you haven't checked your home's value lately, you may be surprised.

Home values in the 27265 area have continued to appreciate over the past year, buyer activity remains steady, and well-priced homes are still moving relatively quickly.

Whether you're thinking about selling soon, planning for the future, or simply curious about your equity position, it's helpful to know where you stand in today's market.

If you'd like an updated estimate of your home's current value, send me a message. I'm happy to provide one and answer any questions you may have about the local market.

In an industry often associated with sales, I believe the most important skill a real estate professional can have is listening.

Every homeowner's situation is different. That's why I start with understanding goals, concerns, and timing before discussing market data or next steps.

My role isn't to push someone toward a transaction. It's to provide accurate information, honest guidance, and help people make confident decisions that align with their goals.

If you're considering a move—or simply want a better understanding of today's market—I'm always happy to have a conversation.

No pressure. Just real data, thoughtful guidance, and a commitment to putting people first.

Spring has traditionally been the strongest selling season in real estate, and that trend is continuing here in the Triad.

For homeowners in High Point, today's market presents an interesting opportunity: inventory remains relatively limited, motivated buyers are still actively searching, and well-positioned homes are often selling within weeks rather than months.

If you've been considering a move—whether it's for more space, a different neighborhood, downsizing, or simply a change of pace—this is a good time to understand your options and your home's current market value.

Real estate decisions are significant financial decisions. Having accurate data and a clear understanding of the market can help you determine whether moving now, later, or not at all is the right choice for you.

If you're curious about what your home might be worth in today's market, send me a message. I'm always happy to provide real numbers, local market insight, and honest advice—without the pressure.

June is National Homeownership Month, a time to recognize the impact homeownership can have on individuals, families, and communities.

For many, a home is their largest financial asset. It can provide stability, a place to build memories, and an opportunity to build equity over time.

Whether you're a current homeowner, considering purchasing a home, or simply interested in understanding today's market, this month is a great reminder of the long-term value real estate can provide.

What does homeownership mean to you? I'd love to hear your perspective. 🏡
