🔑 What happens to the rental market when summer is over?

A lot, actually.

As we move into fall, the pace of the rental market naturally starts to change. We’re seeing more homes available right now and that gives renters more options to choose from than they had during the peak summer leasing season.

More options also mean renters have more opportunities to compare homes based on price, location, condition, and overall value. For owners, that makes it especially important to keep an eye on how their property compares to the competition.

This is also the time of year when we’re watching the details behind the scenes: showing feedback, how quickly comparable homes are leasing, current inventory, and what renters are responding to. Those things help give us a better picture of what the market is doing and where pricing fits into the conversation.

The rental market isn't the same in September as it is in June—and that's normal. Different seasons bring different levels of activity, different renter behavior, and different considerations for owners.

So while things may be a little quieter around the RAH office these days, we're still watching, tracking, and paying attention to what's happening in the market.
