What an AMAZING event with the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Piedmont Network! 🎉

Getting under contract is exciting, but you’re not quite at the finish line yet! There are 3 BIG things I tell my buyers to be extremely careful about before closing 👇🏾

1️⃣ DON’T OPEN NEW CREDIT! 💳🚫
That furniture-store discount may look tempting 🛋️😍, but opening a new account can affect your credit score AND your debt-to-income ratio.

2️⃣ DON’T MAKE LARGE FINANCIAL MOVES WITHOUT TALKING TO YOUR LENDER! 💰⚠️
That includes transferring large amounts of money between accounts, depositing large amounts of cash, or even changing jobs. Always talk to your lender FIRST! 📞

3️⃣ DON’T RUN UP THOSE CREDIT CARDS! 💳📈🚫
Your lender may check your credit and finances AGAIN before closing. A big purchase could change your financial picture and potentially create problems with your loan. 😬

📣 Remember: Getting pre-approved isn’t the finish line!

You still have to remain financially qualified ALL THE WAY THROUGH CLOSING! 🏁🏡🔑

✨ State of Our City Luncheon | Greensboro, NC ✨

I really enjoyed attending the State of Our City Luncheon today, hosted by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce! 🏙️💚

It was incredible to see so many local businesses, community leaders, and organizations come together to hear about the future of Greensboro and the opportunities ahead for our city.

One of my favorite parts was hearing from the leadership of North Carolina A&T State University and UNC Greensboro. 🎓👏🏾 I loved learning more about the partnership between our universities and the important work being done to retain the amazing talent graduating right here in our community.

We have incredible students coming through our local universities, and the more we can connect them with businesses, careers, housing, and opportunities right here in the Triad, the stronger our community will become. 💼🏡📈

Greensboro is growing, collaborating, and continuing to create opportunities—and I’m excited to be a part of it! 💚
