I am very appreciative to 2021 NAR President Charlie Oppler and the many unnamed individuals, who behind the scenes, once again have allowed me to serve on the 2021 Diversity Committee. Our REALTOR family of 1.4 million plus members is an example of the many diverse individuals who come together, for the collective good of others whose voices need to be heard!

The greatest resource the National Association of REALTORS® has lies collectively in you - our members. It's your experiences, perspectives, ideas and actions that comprise our REALTOR® story. At the heart of this story are NAR's committees. By volunteering time and talent, REALTOR® committee members help to write NAR's next chapters.

Electronic polls for the NC REALTOR® elections will be open beginning August 13th and continuing thru August 16.

The online elections to elect the 2019 NC REALTORS® President-Elect, Regional Vice Presidents, Finance and Budget Committee members, Issues Mobilization Committee member and NAR Directors will take place from 12:00:01 am on Monday, August 13 to 11:59:59 pm on Thursday August 16, 2018. REALTOR® members and Association Executives are eligible to vote and must have had their member information reported in the NC REALTORS® NRDS system no later than July 14. Members reported after July 14 will not be able to access the ballot—our voting service will not have your information.

How to Vote:
• When the election begins, eligible members may access the voting site at https://secure.intelliscaninc.net/ncra/2018/
or through NC REALTORS® website at ncrealtors.org and click on the “Vote” banner at the top of our home page. If you use an ad blocker, you may need to turn off the ad blocker software and refresh the page.
• Once you have accessed the voting site, log in with your:
1) NRDS number and,
2) Your email address on file with your local Association as of July 14.

Your vote, for my once again serving on Finance/Budget committee would be very much appreciated. If you have not voted please do so right away, as the polls will close just prior to midnight tonight, August 18.
Most races this year are uncontested, however, there are a couple that are not. Let your vote be counted!.
Please go to the NC REALTORS® website at www.ncrealtors.org and click on the “VOTE” button on the home page to access the ballot.
Eligible voters may access the ballot using their email address on file with NC REALTORS® and their NRDS number. The voting system will only allow an email address and NRDS number to be used once.

Dear Bruce,

Once again the voices of REALTORS were heard loud and clear on Capitol Hill and last night we scored a big win!

Thanks to you, and more than 139,000 REALTORS across the nation, the Housing Opportunity through Modernization Act of 2016 passed the U.S. Senate last night by unanimous consent. This legislation includes reforms to current Federal Housing Administration restrictions on condominium financing, among other provisions, and is long supported by the National Association of REALTORS.

The NAR Leadership Team and I would like to thank you and your colleagues for this amazing grassroots effort and for all your support for this national Call for Action. Our state and local association partners did a great job in leading the efforts to get the Senate to act on this critical legislation.

This victory was made possible by the collective efforts of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, and our state and local association partners. When REALTORS speak in a single unified voice, Congress listens.
