Oh the day in the life of a wife, Realtor, Gift Shop retailer, and Mainstreet Board Member! Yesterday was a full of back to back appointments! I started with a quick walk in-town to Sylvia’s to meet with my fellow downtown business owners to plan for our next downtown Murder Mystery Crawl, coffee, then a quick stop by the store to water the plants, haircut at Zapiens. And then I stopped by my Dad’s house to see his new roof. After that, I was off to Sparta to preview a new lake home listing, then to the east side of the lake to do a video of a lake house for a new client. Then back to downtown Eatonton to head to The Hut for a Mainstreet Board Meeting! After that, we checked in on our new house build (cabinets are in) finally back home to eat dinner! Whew!

I live the life I prayed for years ago. I am so grateful for each day that changes and is never the same. It’s is always filled with fun and new experiences!

Last week I had a hankering to make some homemade bread! I’m swimming in peppers from my garden so, I thought what better way to use them than to make a loaf of my favorite Dutch Oven Cheddar and Jalapeño pepper bread! We made open face steak sandwiches with ribeye steak, pepper jack cheese, more peppers from the garden and my HOMEMADE BREAD! It was perfection! I can dm you the recipe for the bread if you’d like to give it a try! I promise if I can make it so can you!
