Blessed to see another year. 6 years ago today I suffered from having 3 strokes in 18 hours. By the mercy of GOD, I am still here. I am a true walking miracle. I still have some challenges, but no complaints. I am looking forward to the Lord bringing back my smile, so everyone can see how blessed I am.

I am so proud to announce that My daughter Sydney Janae’ Allen has been selected to participate in the 56th Annual Spring Cotillion sponsored by the Beta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Over 2 years ago I suffered from having 3 strokes in 18 hours. Because of Sydney's quick response, I am a survivor. Sydney called 911 and medical assistance got me to the hospital.
During her time as a Cotillionette, she will be involved in various cultural, educational, and informational activities that will introduce her to young adulthood, as well as help her in preparation for post-secondary education. Sydney is planning on attending a four year institution with a major in Computer Engineering.
Through the Cotillion, the young ladies are able to raise scholarship money for college tuition and books. This helps me out enormously because due to my physical condition, I am unable to work anymore. Please note the different levels of contributions for the event.
