City Brewing & Beverage is growing with its customers — right here in Westmoreland County.

In 2026, the company expanded its warehouse footprint at RIDC Westmoreland to more than 511,000 square feet, providing additional capacity to support its production operation in Latrobe.

There, approximately 325 employees help keep a 24/7 operation moving, producing and packaging beverages that ultimately make their way to consumers across the country. Finished products are transported to RIDC Westmoreland for warehousing and customer pickup.

It’s a connection that demonstrates how Westmoreland County’s workforce, industrial infrastructure, and room for expansion can help an established manufacturer respond to changing customer needs and continue to grow.

The first half of 2026 brought significant investment, expansion, and development activity to Westmoreland County. Hitachi Energy continued investing in its growing Westmoreland operations. GE Vernova announced a $166 million expansion of its western Pennsylvania operations. Chelsea Building Products opened its new facility at Commerce Crossing at Westmoreland. And construction advanced on PennSTART, a transportation testing and training facility taking shape near New Stanton.
