As real estate agents, we get to visit beautiful, luxurious, and welcoming homes through showings and appointments on a daily basis.
As many homeowners know, it’s not easy to keep a house always in tip top shape. Not everyone has the knowledge, tools required, or financial ability to keep up with repairs and maintenance.
I came across a home where the garage door was crooked and closed half-way while driving through a neighborhood. After reaching out to the homeowner and learning of her story, I decided to give her a helping hand. After a couple of hours and help from a friend, we were able to remove two truck loads of waste, replace a garage door hinge, and install two new rollers. Her garage door will now fully close and she can safely move freely around her garage.
The time spent and minimal costs involved were worth the reward of her appreciation and hope moving forward.
