While many of us gather with family, enjoy a long weekend, and celebrate the start of summer, Memorial Day gives us an opportunity to pause and remember the true reason for this holiday: honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🙏🏻

As a PROUD military spouse and member of Compass Military Division, this day carries personal meaning in our family. My dad served as a Navy Corpsman during the Vietnam War, and my father-in-law is a Naval Academy graduate who served as a submariner. Their service, and the sacrifice of so many others, are reminders that freedom has never been free. ⚓️

Today, we honor those who gave everything, remember their families, and reflect with gratitude on the legacy they left behind.
