Mark and I have some exciting news….
We have recently partnered with the Bethel Youth Activity Center, a local nonprofit available to students throughout Pitt County. And we couldn’t be more excited!
For those who know us, you know that Mark and I have always had a passion for giving back and serving underprivileged youth and ways to impact those communities. And for those who don’t…well here is a window into our hearts.
We believe in being the hands and the feet in our community, and our desire to serve led us to meeting Dr. Garrie Moore. He is an incredibly generous and humble man who gives his whole heart to serving the Lord and providing an environment to a significantly underprivileged community. He founded the Bethel Youth Activity Center and he and his staff are diligently pouring into these kids every day of the week. I could go on but I know many have probably already stopped reading…
Mark and I recently sat down with Dr. Moore and discussed ways that we could help the Center but also serve the kids, and we came up with some incredible projects. We are excited to announce our Gift of Reading Book Drive. Reading is in fact a gift, and many times one that is under utilized and under encouraged. The Bethel Youth Center focuses specifically on encouraging the development of this skill and also providing a safe space for them to confidently grow this skill. So we are going to revamp their on-site library.
We decided we were going to just go and buy tons of books and deliver while they were our for Christmas but then said…let’s include our friends! We would love for you and your family to join us and make this Book Drive EXTRA Special.
