We lost so many trees a little over a year ago during Hurricane Helene, but this weekend brought so much joy and community spirit as we replanted !

It was amazing to see so many volunteers and neighbors come together to replant trees in the West End and Sterling neighborhoods in downtown Greenville. This effort was made possible through a grant from the Arbor Day Foundation and TreesUpstate.

If you’re looking for a fun and meaningful volunteer opportunity with friends, family, or your company team, tree planting is a wonderful way to give back—helping make our neighborhoods greener and more beautiful !

Handwritten thank-you notes are truly a lost art — and one that never fails to brighten your day! 💌

Recently, I had the pleasure of volunteering at League Academy, conducting mock interviews with eighth-grade students preparing for their future dream careers. I was blown away by their professionalism — from impressive resumes to thoughtful discussions about college paths and the experience needed for their chosen fields.

One of my favorite moments was interviewing my colleague Susan Dodd’s granddaughter, whose dream job is to become a real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway. She already has the passion, confidence, and drive — a future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ agent in the making!

What truly touched me came after the interviews — a stack of handwritten thank-you notes from the students. In a digital world, that kind of thoughtful gesture stands out. It reminded me that in both real estate and life, genuine connections and personal touches make all the difference. ❤️

Big News—Sara and Will are officially Travelers Rest locals!

I couldn’t be more excited to welcome two of my favorite people to the amazing Pinestone community right off Main Street and the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail! As their real estate agent (and friend), it was such a blast helping them find the perfect spot to match their love for biking, hiking, and hitting up great restaurants.

They moved to TR to be closer to the action—and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t? This town has been booming, with nearly 20% population growth since 2020. It’s quickly become the place for people who love nature, good food, and a tight-knit vibe.

Best part? They’re now just down the road/trail, which means more hangouts, trail rides, and quality time together. 🙌

It’s , and if you didn't know already, South Carolina is one of 30 very lucky states to have a park to call our own: the Congaree National Park 🌿

Some fun facts:

🏞️ Size: The park spans over 26,000 acres of protected wilderness in Hopkins, South Carolina.

🌊 Floodplain Forest: It's located in a dynamic floodplain ecosystem where the Congaree and Wateree Rivers meet. Seasonal flooding deposits rich nutrients, supporting lush plant life.

🌳 Champion Trees: Congaree is home to one of the tallest deciduous forests in the Eastern US and the world! Some of the trees in the park are over 500 years old.

🐦 Wildlife Hotspot: The park is a designated Important Bird Area, with over 200 bird species recorded, including barred owls, woodpeckers, and prothonotary warblers. You can also spot white-tailed deer, river otters, bobcats, turtles, and even synchronous fireflies that light up the forest in late spring (a major draw for visitors!).

🛶 Recreation: Visitors can enjoy hiking, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, camping, and ranger-led programs.

✨ Stargazing: As a designated International Dark Sky Park, Congaree offers incredible views of the night sky, far from city lights.

Who could possibly trash this?! Take advantage of this hidden gem, but remember to , keep South Carolina beautiful, and help preserve Congaree's beauty for generations to come.
