Today’s work started with dropping off gifts to clients and getting to catch up with them after their recent closing — honestly one of my favorite parts of this business. It’s always good seeing clients again after the stress of the process is over and hearing how life is going.
Then it was off to a final walk-through, followed by what I thought was another closing.
Long story short… the closing had been moved, and nobody told me. 😂
I won’t lie — I wasn’t the happiest realtor in that moment. But while we were talking, my client started sharing about the blessings in his life: serving his country, having a wife who’s stood by him, and children he considers his greatest gift and responsibility.
Without even realizing it, he gave me some much-needed wisdom and perspective.
I had blocked off two hours for the travel and closing… and guess what else takes about two hours? A movie with Jeremy. Thank you, Lord, for the reminder to slow down, reset my attitude, and appreciate what really matters.
Now I’m headed back out for showings. Let’s see if we can get another one under contract since we already have one closing today! 🙌🏾
***PS I promise Mr. Harris was smiling while he was talking…. 😆
