Some closings mean more than others… and this one will stay with me for a very long time. ❤️
Just one month before we listed her home, my sweet client lost her husband. The home we were selling wasn’t just a house—it was the home where he was born and raised, and later, the home where the two of them spent their entire married life together. A lifetime of memories lived within those walls. ❤️
Selling a home with that much history and love attached to it takes an incredible amount of courage. I knew from the beginning that my job was about so much more than putting a sign in the yard and getting to the closing table. It was about walking beside her through one of the hardest transitions of her life.
We sold the home that held so much of her past, and then I had the privilege of helping her find a new home for her future. 🏡
And somewhere along the way, I got to watch something beautiful happen—I watched her begin to smile again. I watched the excitement return as she imagined making her new home her own and creating new memories there.
As a Realtor, I’m always happy when I find my clients the right house. But this time, I feel like I got to help her find a little piece of herself again, too. ❤️
I will forever be grateful that she trusted me with something so deeply personal. We honored a home filled with a lifetime of love and memories while finding a place where a new chapter can begin.
