As we close out August, we wanted to share a look at the latest progress happening at Brightleaf Townes!

Foundation site work for our first building is officially underway, marking an exciting next step as we continue bringing Brightleaf Townes to life along Greenville's historic Dickinson Avenue corridor.

And things are about to start looking a whole lot different around here. By the end of September, we expect to begin seeing the first building take shape and the vision for Brightleaf Townes become a little more real with each passing week.

The groundwork is happening. The foundation is coming together. And soon, we'll be building UP💛

Meet Rusty Row 🚗

Every great community deserves a mascot, and Brightleaf Townes has officially found one.

Named after the historic To***co Row that helped shape Greenville's rich to***co heritage, Rusty Row is beginning his journey as Brightleaf Townes makes its way to Dickinson Avenue.

You'll be seeing Rusty pop up throughout our social media as construction progresses, milestones are celebrated, and we get closer to welcoming our first residents. Think of him as your guide along the way, sharing a few smiles while we build something special.

Rusty's story is just getting started... and so is the story of Brightleaf Townes. 🍃

🚧 Construction Update 🚧

Big things are taking shape in the heart of Dickinson Avenue!

We're excited to share our first construction update for Brightleaf Townes. Crews are currently in the site preparation and groundwork phase, where the foundation for the entire community begins.

This stage includes grading the site, moving earth, preparing underground infrastructure, and getting everything ready for the next phase of vertical construction. While it may look like a lot of dirt today, every load of earth moved brings us one step closer to a vibrant new townhome community inspired by Greenville's rich to***co heritage and historic Dickinson Avenue corridor.

This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to bring you along as Brightleaf Townes comes to life💛

Before Greenville became the city we know today, Dickinson Avenue was at the center of a thriving to***co market that shaped the community for generations. Today, Brightleaf Townes honors that legacy by bringing new life to one of Greenville’s most historic districts. Rooted in history. Built for what’s next🌿💛

For generations, to***co was more than a crop. It was the lifeblood of Greenville. The to***co market brought growth, opportunity, and people to Dickinson Avenue, shaping a district built on hard work, entrepreneurship, and community.

Warehouse floors buzzed with activity as farmers, buyers, and sellers gathered in a daily exchange that fueled homes, businesses, and the future of our city. The legacy of those bustling to***co warehouses remains woven into the fabric of the Historic Dickinson Avenue District today.

Brightleaf Townes pays homage to this rich heritage while embracing what comes next. Inspired by the spirit of those who built before us, Brightleaf Townes brings new life to the Dickinson Avenue corridor, honoring its past while investing in its future.

As Greenville continues to grow, we celebrate the history that made this community strong and the vision that will carry it forward. Brightleaf Townes is proud to be part of the continued revitalization and growth of one of Greenville’s most historic corridors.

Rooted in History. Built for Tomorrow.

🚧 Demo is officially underway on Dickinson Avenue.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting transformation as we introduce Brightleaf Townes, a new living experience coming to Greenville’s historic Dickinson Avenue Corridor.

While we look ahead to modern apartment living standards, intentional design, and a vibrant new community, we’re equally committed to honoring the rich history of what was once the Greenville To***co Market. Brightleaf Townes is inspired by the character, energy, and legacy that helped shape this district for generations.

This is more than new housing. It’s the next chapter of Dickinson Avenue. Stay tuned for what’s to come🍂✨
