We’re excited to host our first annual Pearson Properties Easter Egg Hunt 🐣

2025 was a year of growth in ways we didn’t expect.

There were some exciting wins. We helped 19 families buy or sell homes, Atlee completed his first year as a fully licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, and we became equity partners in Mantis Holdings, purchasing four Airbnb properties.

But the most meaningful growth happened behind the scenes.

This year was about being home more, being present with our boys, and navigating the real, messy, beautiful parts of parenthood. Choosing joy through long nights, full days, and learning just how resilient and happy our kids are.

We were reminded that business is only as meaningful as the relationships behind it. Instead of chasing it like we have in years past, we focused on connecting with our clients to achieve real, long lasting growth. The greatest reward is our clients happiness and continued relationship during and after the sale! Creating a community that feels like family is our biggest goal!

We trust God’s hands in our life now more than ever, and we’re committed to valuing relationships over sales and quality over quantity in both our life and our work.

To everyone who has trusted us, referred family or friends, or supported us along the way, thank you. That trust means everything.

Here’s to carrying this same intention and gratitude into 2026!

Real estate is never boring 😅

Had clients fly in from Utah this weekend and we spent 3 straight days touring homes. On day one, my truck broke down and had to be towed… so naturally, they ended up driving me to the showings 😂

What could’ve been stressful turned into such a great time. Our families clicked instantly, our kids are similar ages, and by the end of the weekend it felt more like friends house-hunting together than “work.”

So excited to help them make their move in a couple months and officially welcome them to the Upstate!

🦃🔥 “Hi, I’m Firefighter Brooks! Here to keep Thanksgiving SAFE!”
(I might be tiny, but I have BIG firefighter energy.) 👨‍🚒

1. “No kiddos in the hot zone!”
Thanksgiving kitchen = LOTS of hot stuff.
So toddlers stay way over there 👉🏼 with snacks.
2. “Watch the stove! It gets very emotional today.”
All the burners are on.
Everything is bubbling.
Someone always forgets one.
3. “Turn the handles IN! My grabby hands are active.”
If it's sticking out… I will try to take it.
I can’t help it.
4. “No paper towels or oven mitts near the burners!”
Fire LOVES to eat paper towels.
Don’t feed it.
5. “Check the oven before turning it on.”
People hide pans in there.
Sometimes toys accidentally teleport there.
Thanksgiving = oven storage chaos.
6. “If something starts smoking… nobody freak out!”
Turn off the heat.
Put a lid on it.
Do NOT blow like birthday candles. (I tried.)
7. “Turkey juice is slippery — wipe it or Daddy will wipe out.”
Drips = danger.
And Daddy falls loud.
8. “No zoomies in the kitchen today.”
No running, chasing, spinning, dancing, or doing Sonic-speed laps.
Hot gravy is not your friend.
9. “Use oven mitts, not toddler hands.”
Even though the mitts look like puppets.
Hot pans need big people.
10. “Fire extinguisher ready! Thanksgiving food gets dramatic.”
Mac and cheese has an attitude sometimes.
🔥 BONUS: For deep-frying the turkey…
“The fryer stays OUTSIDE, far away from the house. FAR. Like… over by the squirrels.”
No porches.
No garages.
Not next to Daddy’s truck.
Way, way over there 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼
And:
Turkey must be all the way thawed (frozen = BOOM)
Grown-ups lower it slowlyyyyyy
No kids, dogs, or Papas in the fry zone
No water ever (fryer + water = chaos)
