Weird fun fact: Tell me you live in the Upstate without telling me you live in the Upstate… 🦍😂

Yes, there really was a “Harambe Memorial Bridge” on Google Maps.

Back in 2023, someone gave the new pedestrian bridge over I-385 the unofficial name before the city had officially named it—and the internet did what the internet does. An actual memorial even popped up at the bridge. 😭

The city eventually made it official as the Mauldin Gateway Bridge, connecting the BridgeWay Station area with the greater Mauldin community.

But apparently, some local legends are harder to rename. 😂

Upstate people, settle this for me:

Pawtoberfest was a PAW-some success! 🐾🍻💚

From putt putt and jump houses to dancing along with The Tootlers, German food + b**r, and of course… doggies EVERYWHERE 🐶 — we couldn’t have asked for a more fun day with our Greenville community.

But the best part? Together, we raised over $1,000 for the Greenville Humane Society! 🎉🐾

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, donated, participated, and helped make the day so special — and an extra big thank you to all of our incredible sponsors who helped make Pawtoberfest possible. 💚
