I didn't know you were going to try to make me CRY, Kristian! LOL. I'm grateful for the work you and your team are doing to help the community in such a meaningful way. Mental health is such an important piece of who we all are and when that's compromised, everything else suffers. I tell this story all the time. I remember exactly where I was when Andrea got all giggly and shared that she was going to take her exams to become a realtor. She literally was so excited she couldn’t help but giggle.

When I was looking for a house, I called Andrea and she stood firm for me as if she was purchasing the house for herself. She had her heels on and climbed in the attic to make sure the repairs were done the right way. She made the whole process very easy and less over whelming.

When I founded Peace From Pieces, I called Andrea and told her what I had done. I told her what my plans were and what my dreams were. She has been on wild property hunts with me and she has chased the rabbit down the hole with me. She has prayed with me and for me and even gave me encouraging words when I was questioning ideas. She has always been a HUGE advocate for mental health and over the years Andrea and I have grown to share many stories of our struggles in the mental health field.

Sooooo, last night when Andrea called I didn’t think anything about it when she said she needed to come see me. So we made plans for this morning. She handed me a donation that I was not expecting. See Andrea made a pledge to give back to the community everytime she sold a house in the 2026 year. If you know Andrea, then you know she stands on business - and with her heart on her sleeve.

Andrea we could not thank you enough for your donation!! It will continue to allow us to meet the basic needs of our clients outside of the therapy room so that we can focus on healing them inside the therapy room.

It's understandably an exciting time, but to ensure a smooth closing, its important to PAUSE any non-essential spending, opening new credit cards, or making major purchases (furniture, appliances, cars) until the keys are in your hand.

NOTE: Underwriters will re-verify your credit and bank statements just before closing. Any new debt or large cash withdrawals might jeopardize your mortgage approval.

You want to protect your DTI ratio (debt to income) and credit score... So DO NOT apply for any new financing until after closing. My personal recommendation is to wait a few months if you are a 1st time homebuyer or you are leveling up with higher payments.
