Well, it’s definitely creative… but shingles on exterior stairs? 🤔 I get the idea behind it, but this was a newly renovated flip we toured, and there are better options for a non-slip surface. You could easily mix sand into paint or use non-slip tape, but singles? There’s a reason roofers tell you to keep tree limbs off your roof – the granules can come off easily, and this just won’t last. It feels like a quick fix that won't stand the test of time and honestly looks like a band-aid solution.

Princeton, TX has SLAMMED THE BREAKS on all new residential construction! In a bold move, city officials have placed a 4-month moratorium on housing permits, halting all new builds as they struggle to keep up with the city’s explosive growth. Since 2005, Princeton has skyrocketed from a population of 4,000 to over 28,000, leaving its infrastructure playing catch-up.

With demand soaring and construction at a standstill, home prices are expected to rise fast, and flipping homes may become highly profitable—at least for the short term. The moratorium will give the city time to improve utilities, roadways, and public services to support this rapid expansion.

A North Texas city is putting a temporary stop to its rapid growth: the city of Princeton has approved a four-month pause on new residential building approvals.
