Bryan and Shaylee…. these two hold such a special place in my heart.
I was first introduced to Bryan back in 2021, when he and Shaylee were preparing to move to South Carolina from out of state. They were full of excitement and big dreams for the future. If I’m being honest, I remember thinking, “That’s sweet… but we’ll see how it goes.” Over the years, I’ve seen many young adults start out with big dreams, only to get discouraged when things don’t happen right away, but Bryan and Shaylee were different. They had that something special. They had a quiet determination and I knew they weren’t going to quit. They purchased their first home in 2021, and not long after, they started looking for their very first investment property. We looked on and off for two, maybe three years and eventually, we found the one. Now, they’re officially landlords.
I think about these two “kids” often. Since we first met, they’ve bought a beautiful home on acreage, become parents (great parents!) and built a foundation for long-term success, not just financially, but as a family. I’m incredibly proud of them. Not just because they bought real estate, but because they followed through. Where so many others simply talk about their goals, they took action. They faced challenges, ignored the noise, and stayed focused on what they set out to achieve. Buying investment property isn’t everyone’s dream but it was theirs. And they made it happen. Bryan and Shaylee will always be at the top of my list of favorites… not just as clients, but as people.
