We’ve recently become aware of scammers using our real listing photos to advertise properties for rent online.
For your protection, please remember:
✅ Haystack Realty Group/Haystack Property Management will NEVER ask you to send money, deposits, application fees, or security deposits through social media, text message, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, gift cards, or wire transfer without first completing the proper application and contract process.
✅ All rental applications and real estate transactions are handled through official channels with our licensed real estate agents.
✅ If something feels suspicious, please contact our office directly before sending any money or personal information.
✅ Haystack Property Management does not advertise rentals through Facebook Marketplace.
Unfortunately, rental scams are becoming more common, and scammers often steal photos from legitimate real estate listings to make their advertisements appear authentic.
If you see one of our listings being advertised as a rental and you’re unsure if it’s legitimate, give us a call. We’d much rather answer a quick question than see someone become a victim of fraud.
