Ada’s world has gone quiet… But not in the way she needs.
Ada is 8 years old, and right now, she is so, so scared.
This sweet senior girl is missing one eye, and the other barely lets her see the world around her. Imagine being surrounded by constant noise you can’t understand… smells that change every second… shapes you can’t quite make out. That’s Ada’s reality in the shelter. And she doesn’t know why it’s happening.
She flinches at sudden movement. She startles when other dogs come too close - because she never sees them coming. It’s not that she doesn’t want friends… she’s just trying to feel safe in a world that’s become confusing and overwhelming.
But when things slow down… when voices soften… when a gentle hand reaches her…
That’s when you see who Ada really is. 💛
A girl who still loves a little playtime. A girl who enjoys calm walks at her own pace. A girl who will happily curl up beside you on the couch and just be with you.
And her favorite? Older kids and teenagers, humans who understand how to be gentle, patient, and kind. They make her feel safe.
Ada doesn’t need chaos. She doesn’t need a busy home or a pack of other pets. She needs one place. One soft landing.
A quiet home. A predictable routine. A heart big enough to love a dog who may not see you clearly, but will feel your love in every single moment.
She has given us nothing but sweetness, even while she’s afraid. Now she’s waiting for someone who will see her.
Please don’t let her spend her golden years in fear and confusion. She deserves comfort. She deserves peace. She deserves to finally exhale.
Ada needs out. She needs a home. She needs you.
