Matt is a broker associate who provides an interesting dynamic to the Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby's International Realty team. After obtaining a bachelors degree in business from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Matt returned to Greenville to pursue a career in real estate appraising. Matt is a 3rd generation certified appraiser whose family started the business from the cozy confines of a finished attic. This business grew into a well established and nationally respected appraisal firm covering the eastern seaboard specializing various types of residential and commercial properties. Over the years Matt obtained prestigious designations from the Appraisal Institute and served the South Carolina Chapter as the Government Relations Chair. Matt’s insatiable love for real estate and desire to service clients inspired him to expand his collection of “hats” and join Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby's International Realty. His understanding of real estate principles and economics provide an invaluable component to making your real estate transaction a success.
