Freddie Mac has updated its guidelines and may now allow financing on certain manufactured homes that have been moved from one location to another.
This is a significant change that could open the door to more homeownership opportunities for buyers in the manufactured housing market.

✅ Homes may qualify if they: • Pass a structural integrity inspection by a licensed engineer or approved authority�• Are located in an area that is no more restrictive than the zoning for which they were originally built

If you've previously been told a relocated manufactured home couldn't be financed, it may be time to take another look.
Affordable housing options matter, and changes like this help create more paths to homeownership.
