I heard this morning that Philadelphia, a city of 1.6 million population, turned out 1.4 million for the Eagles parade. Not a bad perfotmance. However, the best mark that I am aware of was in 2004. In that case, Boston, a city of 625,000 at the time, turned out 3.5 million for the Red Sox victory parade!
