YES! Houses are generally on the market much longer and I have seen many, many price decreases. It is becoming a more balanced pre-pandemic market. YET, transactions STILL happen with happy outcome on both sides!

What is your favorite summer activity? We like to get together with friends at our local 'Movies at the Park' events to just hang out, share snacks, roll down grassy hills (yep, seems like my kids have not outgrown that phase :) and watch the featured movie together huddled up on (and sometimes in) picnic blankets. This is a great article about the true bottom line when you buy a brand-new home. Unfortunately many consumers think the advertised prices of a builder is the true cost of the home. Far from it! Your bottom line can increase swiftly by tens of thousands of dollars based on the lot you choose, the finishing touches, upgrades, closing costs, delays, and availability of materials. Then you also need to consider the interest rate hikes, increase in tax assessments as well as Metro taxes and special district taxes (if applicable) that can affect your monthly loan payments. The more you know, the better you can decide if a new build is truly a great fit!
