Your Denver market overview! Active listings and days on market are significantly up. If you have been following the interest rates they have been declining. Interest rates are projected to slowly decrease. This is GREAT time to buy before the spring market and lower interest rates creates more competition!

Are you a first time homebuyer in Denver but feel defeated with the lack of options. PAY ATTENTION!

2023 will have lots of opportunity for you if you focus on these two areas.

1. New construction homes-builder confidence is and has been declining. Builders do not want to hold onto inventory so most are offering rate buy downs, price reductions, and upgrades as incentives.
2. Homes that need work- Most people want move in ready homes. If you are willing to put some sweat equity in, you can score big time. It doesn’t have to be a complete gut job either. New paint and flooring go along way!

Market Crash? I would argue this is a great time for both sellers and buyers. Buyers no longer have to give up everything to buy a home and now there are more options. Homes are still selling just not as quickly! Who knows what will happen to the Denver real estate market but every month more people are moving to Denver and unemployment is still very low.
