✨ I found myself looking for quotes about “home” today, but I can’t find any that hit the spot.

✨In my 20 years as a residential real estate agent, I have seen the American Dream of home ownership realized, lost, and re-arranged.

✨I have sat at the kitchen table with countless homeowners and potential homeowners listening to their stories of dreams of the next chapter and sometimes shame around the current chapter.

✨ But it’s not always either or.

💥Not to alarm anyone, but the real estate market is changing.

⚫️ Sellers will be the last to know because you all have been in a dreamy Seller’s market bubble and you’re getting mixed information.

⚫️ I’ve been a real estate agent for 18 years and have seen changing markets. We are at the beginning of one, and although we have a ways to go before we see a balanced market, changes are happening quickly.

⚫️ Active homes for sale have increased 32% in the last month, and Under Contract and Sold listings are down also. The exact numbers are different between the Phoenix and Denver markets, but both markets are starting to change.

⚫️ We are also seeing less offers, less showings. Price-reductions and more days on market.

⚫️ If you are a home-owner who has been keeping your eye on the market to maximize your price, now might be the time to get off the fence.
