Approximately 30 people will be in attendance.

Please bring one side and the recipe for what you have made on an index card. If you like what you have tasted take a photo of the index card recipe.

I'll update this post as people add what they are bringing.

I'm going to make this as a general guide to explain the gate operation.

A. Exit probe in the asphalt to open the gate when we leave.

B. Safety probe that prevents the gate from opening. If this is covered the gate WILL NOT open to prevent cars from being hit while it's opening.

C. This is an infrared eye just like at the bottom of a garage door. If this beam is obstructed the gate will not close. Just like a garage door goes up if you walk under it.

D and E. These are safety probes in the asphalt that prevent the gate from closing. These probes assume someone is either driving thru the gate or on their way.

The big news is that A is the only way the gate will open from the inside for exit.

Hey everyone, I wanted to catch everyone up on the gate.

It's been a PITA so far. The timer won't keep the correct schedule so they have ordered a new one.

When people are exiting the neighborhood they are driving on the other side of the road and missing the exit probe in the asphalt.

The schedule should be 7am-9pm. We moved it back a little later to accommodate people working later.

We are going to try and come up with a solution that helps people figure out how to exit. I'm sure the Mullenaux's are as tired of walking people out at all hours as I am of answering the phone at all hours to let people out.

Hey everyone,

I had to have some work done on the cable at my house so I asked the Xfinity tech about coming to the new neighborhood. He looked and of course, we were not even on their radar. He was able to reach out to a district salesperson and the process has begun.

He says it would speed up an installation if we were to walk into one of their local sales offices and request service in person. No promises but after showing the AT&T service already in the neighborhood it bumped the ticket up in priority.
