Well… I had a great closing today with one very spicy client. 😂 (He knows I’d say that!)

Today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one as he heads off to Louisiana. I’m so happy I could help him make it happen.

This sale was anything but easy. Together we cleared out an entire house, decluttered for weeks, hosted a weekend garage sale, and even brought in an auction company to help with everything that was left. It was a lot of work, but every step brought him closer to this day.

After losing his partner last year, this move represents so much more than just selling a house. It’s a fresh start, and I couldn’t be happier for him as he begins this next chapter.

I also have to give a very special thank you to his amazing sister, Nancy Norris. From the very beginning, she trusted me with this huge responsibility and gave me the opportunity to help their family through such an important transition. She was there every step of the way, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team to work alongside.

I’m incredibly grateful he trusted me to help manage such a big task from start to finish. Seeing it all come together today made every bit of the hard work worth it.

And of course, a huge shoutout to my incredible teammate Realtor Sara Thacker for jumping in to help every step of the way, and for bringing the buyer! Teamwork truly made this one possible. ❤️

Well… today was a pretty awesome day. 😊

Joe didn’t just close on one investment property today… he closed on TWO! 🏡🏡

I’m so glad he trusted me to help him with both of these purchases. He’s building his investment portfolio in the Southport area, and I can’t wait to see what he does with these properties and to see where this journey takes him!

This one was definitely bittersweet.

This home has been in ny sellers family for years. It’s where so many memories were made, family traditions were celebrated, and life happened. Walking away from a place that holds that much history is never easy.

We priced her home right from the start, and it paid off! We received 7 offers, accepted one $14,000 over asking, and the buyer even waived the inspection. While those are amazing results, they weren’t the most important part of her journey.

From day one, Regina’s goal was simple, she wanted to be closer to her family.

If you’ve ever met Regina, you know her grandbabies are her whole world. Every decision she made was with them in mind. She stayed patient, trusted the process, and in the end, she found exactly what she was looking for, a beautiful home in the perfect location, just minutes from the people she loves most.

I couldn’t be happier for her. She closed one chapter that will always hold a special place in her heart, and now she gets to start making new memories in a home that’s exactly where she wants to be.

Now it’s time to help her find the perfect contractor for that new fence so she can start making it her own.

🏡 Sometimes real estate has very little to do with houses.

This one was about a fresh start.

Over the last several months, I had the privilege of helping my client through two of the biggest transitions of her life—selling one chapter and buying the next.

Behind every signature was a story most people will never see. There were difficult conversations, uncertainty, and moments that felt overwhelming. But through it all, she never lost sight of where she wanted to be.

I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. We got her home under contract in just 16 days in a market averaging around 35 days, negotiated 4.5% in seller concessions on her new home, and most importantly… we got her to a place where she can begin again.

But more than any of that, I’m proud of her.

I’ve watched her face some incredibly difficult moments with more strength, courage, and resilience than she probably gives herself credit for. Even on the hardest days, she kept moving forward. She chose hope over fear, and one step at a time, she built a new path for herself.

Today wasn’t just about closing on two homes. It was about closing one chapter and opening another.

Thank you for trusting me during one of life’s hardest seasons. It was an honor to walk beside you through it.

Congratulations on your new beginning. I hope every room in your new home brings you a little more peace, a little more joy, and a reminder of just how strong you truly are.

🏡🗝️ Another set of keys, another dream realized. 🗝️🏡

The moment I saw this house, I had a feeling it was the one! A quiet neighborhood, a yard perfect for his dog, peaceful creek in the back, and with so much potential.

Does it need some love? Absolutely. But that’s exactly what Nate was looking for. He wanted a place he could truly make his own, and with an amazing family ready to roll up their sleeves and help, I know this house is going to be something special.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that this business is about so much more than buying and selling houses. Somewhere along the way, clients become friends. You spend time learning what matters to them, what they’re looking for, and what they want their future to look like. It’s never just about the house.

Nate, congratulations on becoming a homeowner! I can’t wait to see what you do with this place and watch it become your home.

🏡 Closing Day and this one hit a little differently.

People often see the “SOLD” sign, the smiling photos at closing, and the excitement of moving into the next chapter. What they don’t always see are the months leading up to that moment.

This transaction took nearly 5 months to close. We went under contract more than once. We made it all the way to just 3 days before closing when a buyer unexpectedly walked away. No warning. No notice. Just heartbreak and uncertainty for my sellers who had already packed, planned, and emotionally moved on.

There were contractor schedules to coordinate, weather delays we couldn’t control, utility issues that had to be resolved, deadlines that seemed impossible, and more than a few moments where we wondered if we’d ever make it to the finish line.

Through it all, my sellers showed incredible patience, resilience, and trust. We kept moving forward one step at a time, solving problems as they came and refusing to give up.

Real estate isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always easy. Sometimes it’s stressful, emotional, and exhausting. Sometimes the job goes far beyond contracts and negotiations. Sometimes it’s simply standing beside your clients when things don’t go as planned and helping them find a way through.

Today, all of that hard work paid off. My sellers are officially on their way to their dream home on 5 acres, and seeing them get there made every challenge worth it.
