A little maintenance tip for y'all- Check your outlets and cords. A frayed wire can spark a fire in an instant. Make sure that over time you are checking those lamp plugs and charger cords for splits. A plug should fit tightly into an outlet, so if it's loose, you may need to change the outlet itself. Moving can be stressful, but here's a few tips to cut that stress in half!
1. Shop around for your moving company.
2. To save money, don’t move at the beginning or end of the month.
3. Get more boxes than you think you need.
4. Don’t forget to fill out a change of address form with the Post Office.
5. Before you start packing, sort through what you want to keep, donate and throw away.
6. Don’t mix different rooms in the same box.
7. Pack an overnight bag for the night before the move.
8. Keep snacks and water on hand for moving day.
9. Designate a specific box to be opened first.
10. Have a general floor plan in mind for each room.
