I’m not wishing bad weather on anyone… but if I’m stuck at home for a few days, I want it to be somewhere that actually works.

This house checks a lot of those boxes — propane on site, its own septic system, insulated windows, and enough space that nobody has to climb the walls if the power flickers or the roads get slick.

Add in a bonus room, big living spaces, and a solid layout, and it’s the kind of place that just feels more comfortable when the weather isn’t playing nice.

Hopefully we won’t have to test any of that — but it’s nice knowing it’s there.
