Gretna Public Schools filed a countersuit alleging the company violated its contract because it didn't finish the project on time. Now the two parties are headed for mediation.

Tis the season. Severe storms seem likely late Tuesday afternoon through the evening across the region. Much of the area is in an enhanced risk of severe storms. And all modes are possible, including isolated tornadoes, very large hail, and damaging winds. Best timing still looks like 6pm to midnight, but there's also a small chance isolated storms could develop in northeast NE 4-6 pm. Don't let the morning stratus fool you. We are getting ready. Are you? Know how to receive information, and be ready to seek shelter if warnings are issued for your area tomorrow.
