The recent sale of two homes marks the first time a home in the Woods has sold for over a $1million - a huge milestone for the community.

Over the past decade the Woods frequently sells more homes than any other city, and its Median price continues to increase - rising 16% over the past five years.

𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘

On 16 February 1924, 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 suffered a catastrophic loss after the clubhouse was destroyed by fire. Two days later ground was cleared to make way for a new building, designed by Stratton and Snyder. The new building, completed in June 1924, was described as one of the most attractive and commodious in the mid-west. It was razed in 1968.
