If you’ve ever wondered why people are so loyal to Grosse Pointe Park, Windmill Pointe is a big part of the answer.

It’s our private lakefront park, residents only, and the pools officially open this Saturday, May 23rd.

Two pools, a marina, the fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, an indoor event space, summer concerts on the lawn. It’s the kind of place where you come for a swim and end up staying through sunset because you ran into half your neighborhood.

Watching the sun drop over Lake St. Clair from a lounge chair never really gets old.

If you’re thinking about a move to the Park, or just curious what makes this community feel the way it does, this park is genuinely one of the reasons people stay for generations.

Being named an Hour Media Real Estate All-Star again is a genuine honor, and none of it happens without the clients who trust me with one of the biggest moves of their lives.

The award recognizes the top 5% of agents across Metro Detroit, but the truth is, I think about it differently.

Every closing, every referral, every “we want you to help our parents next” is what actually built this. The work is the work, but the people are the reason.

So thank you. To every client who picked up the phone, sent a friend my way, or trusted me with their family’s next chapter. This one is yours too!

It isn’t just the start of summer. It’s the day we honor the men and women who made every other lazy weekend on this lake possible. The ones who never came home.

If you do nothing else this weekend, please pause at 3:00 PM on Monday for the National Moment of Remembrance. One minute, wherever you happen to be.

It’s the smallest thing you can do, and somehow it’s the biggest thing too ⚓

Then go enjoy the weekend with the people you love most. That’s exactly what they fought for.

Some days I have to remind myself how lucky I am to live here!

I grew up in Grosse Pointe, built my career here, and I’m raising my family here too. After this long it would be easy to stop noticing what makes this place special.

But there’s a real difference between living somewhere and loving where you live, and I never want to forget which one I’m doing 💙

The longer I’m here, the more I realize that’s worth saying out loud. Grateful for every quiet moment this place keeps giving me!

The Grosse Pointe market is sending sellers a clear message right now 📍

If you’re thinking about a summer listing, the numbers are worth a real look.

Homes priced right and presented well? Moving in about 30 days.

The ones that aren’t? Sitting. And the gap between those two outcomes keeps getting wider.

I’m seeing a clean split this year 🔑 Updated homes are pulling multiple offers, fast.

Dated homes at top dollar are a whole different conversation.
Price strategy isn’t a guess anymore. It’s the entire game.

If selling is on your mind, let’s talk before you pick a number 💬 The market is still tilted toward sellers, but it’s not a blank check. It rewards the ones who plan.

Everyone knows the showy streets in the Pointes. The lake-facing blocks, the big-name streets you’ve seen on every postcard. But the magic? It’s tucked into the quieter pockets most buyers scroll right past 🌳

A few that always make my list:

The Windmill Pointe area in Grosse Pointe Park. Mature trees, walking distance to the water, and a tight-knit feel you can’t manufacture.

The streets off Vernier in Grosse Pointe Woods. Quiet, family-heavy, and full of homes that don’t always make the highlight reel but absolutely should.

The pocket near Pier Park in Grosse Pointe Farms. Shorter blocks, beautiful architecture, and that small-town walkability everyone says they want.

You don’t have to live on the headline street to live the lifestyle. Sometimes the better house is one block over 🤍

there’s a lot of bad real estate advice floating around, and most of it sounds reasonable until you actually run the numbers.

I have a version of this conversation almost every week. Sellers waiting on something. A rate change, a season, a different agent’s number.

In most cases, the waiting costs them more than they realize.

The Grosse Pointe market doesn’t behave like the headlines say. What’s happening on the ground is way more nuanced, and it shifts every quarter!
