Our windows from The Vatican
The most important work of art at the Fair is on display here: Michelangelo's 465-year-old masterpiece in carved Carrara marble, the Pietà, generally held to be one of the finest examples of Christian art in any medium. Installed in Old St. Peter's Basilica in 1499, it had never been taken from the Vatican until the late Pope John XXIII granted permission for it to be brought to the Fair. The pavilion in which it is exhibited is an oval-shaped building topped by a cross, with a curving wall extending from the entrance. The pavilion and its contents have as their theme, "The Church is Christ Living in the World."

A New Chapter for Bennedito’s Grinders!

There are some exciting changes happening at Bennedito’s, and we want to share them with the people who have made this little grinder shop so special over the years — our wonderful customers!

Please join us in welcoming Allen and Leah Munton, who will be the new owners of Bennedito’s Grinders!

Allen and Leah understand that Bennedito’s is more than just a place to grab a grinder. It’s a place built on tradition, familiar faces, and great food. They are already going above and beyond, spending time learning firsthand how to make grinders the Bennedito’s way! Their goal is to preserve the flavors, quality, and traditions you’ve come to know and love.

And we have more great news! Karina is staying! You’ll still see her familiar, smiling face behind the counter, helping Allen and Leah through the transition and making sure the Bennedito’s tradition continues.

As Rick prepares to say goodbye to this chapter, we hope you’ll stop in to wish him well, meet Allen and Leah, and show them the same friendship and loyalty you’ve shown Bennedito’s over the years.

The greatest gift you can give Rick as he moves on is to help Allen and Leah succeed. Keep coming in, keep enjoying your favorite grinders, and help make this next chapter a wonderful one.
