Hello Friends, I’d like to introduce you to our company and give you a little of our background as you begin your rental life or investment opportunity. The origination of our property management began many moons ago with the Queen of Real Estate and rentals, Mrs. She and husband Robert (aka: BOB) handled property management in Grove for 30+ years, initially as 3-D Properties. In 2008, Lesa opened
the Crye-Leike Realtors branch office, under owner Harold Crye and continued her company licensed through the brokerage, changing the name under Crye-Leike (a new regulation placed by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and HOW property management shall operate). Lesa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and lost her battle in July 2016. During this time, she hired Brinda Russell (me) to assist and learn the company and continue her success. Might I add I was also pregnant with a baby due August 6th!! Myra was born just 9 days after Lesa’s passing and brought a light to such a dark time but adding a brand-new baby into the mix of real estate life, property management (to which I was still learning all the tricks and trades from Lesa), Bob dealing with the loss of his best friend and love of his life…it was truly treacherous times we had in the beginning of the new journey to the company! We contemplated off and on of opening our own company, but it was a bittersweet to leave behind all Lesa had built. Finally, in the summer of 2020, we decided it was the right thing and right time to move on and continue to build. The new office opened September 2020 and we began operations under Grove Real Estate & Rentals, always with the hope and intentions of expanding but not knowing God's timing on it, we settled to stay local! I never would have thought in the very beginning of my real estate schooling or career, I would have anything to do with rental property or Brokering but here I am, doing both…it’s amazing how God can change your direction in life so drastically, but he knows what he is doing. With-in our processing of this decision, Bob decided it was time to semi-retire and sold all his rentals, yes, all 30 properties he owned! Blessed, I was able to purchase them, along with another investor. So again, here we are continuing the rental business. The office is located at 212 W 4th ST and man was it a journey in itself! A full remodel was in store but what life we have brought to this old little farmhouse of its time! (I for one am ready for it to be completed but hey, this is what we do, right!) We offer real estate needs, property management, and just a place to help out our community and people as much as possible and those in need. We are a FAMILY atmosphere office, so upon entering, you will find my kids in office, Myra running around like she’s the boss (a given considering she was at “work” just 3 days old doing billing with me), Bobs grandkids, coloring pages and toys all around, Callie our mental assistance cat who was a 4 month old stray we adopted, Huck my ferocious 5 lb teacup poodle, who comes and goes with me, care and love, and hopefully just a very Welcoming feeling when you come in. Recently, we just rebranded to Stone Tablet Properties where we will continue to serve as time has past, along with the soon expansion into surrounding towns of Grand Lake for long term leasing. We all cannot wait to see what the continued future has in store for our company and the places God will take it! We would like to thank everyone who has been a part of this journey and got here with us. I want to thank Bob and Lesa especially for giving me this opportunity and teaching me the ways along the road. Myself and Bob look forward to growing our company in more ways than one and continuing the legacy Lesa so heavily built…it’s been tough shoes to fill but we are doing our best! A few to personally thank because we, I, would not be here if it weren’t for you so THANKS goes out to a few: Lesa of course, Bob for being right by my side and becoming my adopted dad and continued partnering on management, my children for their patience as rentals in itself is a full time gig on top of throwing real estate sales in there, Debbie Littlefield of whom stayed on me for 3 years to get my real estate license, all the agents at the Crye-Leike office for helping and teaching me through my first years of being a Realtor, Ben and Ed for giving me this new opportunity and journey, and foremost my Lord and Savior for taking me far beyond what I thought my goals in life were and showing me where my direction was needed.
